sorry for posting here, couldn't find a better list ;-)

i was just wondering why the ActiveState-project "pyperl" is no longer 
maintained? it runs with python-2.3.4 and perl 5.6.1 maximum*. i cannot see a 
reason for that, because i think it rules! it's so great to work with perl 
objects in python, especially if you're new to python and if you don't want 
to port your whole code!

does anyone know more about this?

* if you try to install pyperl-1.0.1 under higher versions of perl/python, the 
installation will work, but as soon as you " import perl ", you will get the 
famous ImportError: " perl2.so not found ", so don't do it!
