ODU's standard review cycle is 5 years; however, we will sometimes recommend
more frequent reviews of specific policies, especially if they pertain to new
or emerging law/regulations.

At Memorial University, policy review is required every four years, with the
exception of one policy, which has a statutory requirement to be reviewed every

Hi Melinda:
At Ohio State, we have a standard five-year review schedule. We use that
five-year cycle to drive policy goals with the responsible offices but
sometimes resource constraints and other policies being prioritized lead to a
delay in the review.
