We expire the cartridges for db backup after 7 days.
We have created an script with a query volhistory to know the label of the
cartridge to return to the library.

Good news is, we found the tape (Richard, we didn't give up searching :)
Strange news is, the tape is in a cabinet where we keep our scratch tapes,
how it got out there at the first place? my best bet is due to human error

Well, you could define a Devclass of DEVType=FILE for this purpose,
and then install like a 36GB hard drive inside a safe, or safe-like
device, and automatically have a, um, safe copy, with no extra

The error simply means that TDP for Exchange is trying to restore
the database that you asked, but it cannot create the file
to restore to. It usually means that something else
(like some other process/program on your server)
has the file open that you are trying to restore open.
