I have a 3575-L32. What color are the "tabs" on the new tapes. Red, Blue or Green? Are they the same as existing tapes? If not you may have a higher capacity tape than drive can use. That's my quick answer. If that's not it then I would suggest reboot server with TSM and 3575 library and try a

- I assume you make a typo and are talking about ITSM 5.1 - you need to perform both upgrade and box replacement. Depending on order you have two choices -- move to new box + upgrade --> backup DB on old server, install current version (4.2.x.y) on new box, restore DB there, upgrade to 5.1 --
