See the client manual chapter on "Automating tasks". There is a section
therein that discusses the return codes.and their meanings. Let me know if
there is something there that needs clarification.

On top of that, if you'd try the install (like I did on my test server)
you'd notice that tsm server 5.2 requires bos.rte > 5
Then again, since aix 4.3.3 is eol end of this your, you'd probably
wnat to upgrade anyway...

It maybe obivious but did you check your maxscrath volumes parameter on your
seqeuntial storagepool...
You should check volumes in as scracht and give a max scratch to controle
how many volumes might be used bij your tapepools.
