I tried to set up the library in TSM the same as before the restore. I deleted the paths then redefined using the same info that's in the devcfg. Another thing to check: If you are at TSM 5.x, do : q path * f=d If you are at TSM 4.x, do: q drive * f=d Check to make sure the /dev/rmtx numbers in the PATH definitions match what you see from AIX lsdev. If there has been any recabling, you can have that problem where AIX renumbers the tape
