Tell your SAN guru to doublecheck the settings of the SAN switch (if any). I had a library disconnected for a few days (TSM reported "online" for lib and drive) because of new settings for the fabric. To my untrained eye the settings looked all right, too. > -Ursprüngliche Nachricht- > V

I would check and make sure that the scsi connections (smc is scsi right?? I am using adic so im not familiar with the ibm device names) to the library are secure and correct. Do you just discover with cfgmgr or do you have to define them yourself. Not sure if this will help but I found the ut
