Jesse, I don't use AIX sorry so can't help you there but Paul Zarnowski talked about
his upgrade back in February which sounds similar to yours.

Sorry for the late reply, weekend and all that but being from Australia as well you're
in the same boat. :-)
For our monthlys, on our main fileserver which has about a 1tb of data, we see an
average of about ~12% change in data a month. I'm not sure the percentage of change
for our other server

Your post got me thinking as to just why I decided what I did ― and now I remember :)
There was another management requirement that all production servers be backed up in
full once per year and that snapshot be kept "forever" - there is no reasoning with
this, its one of those stupid

This all sounds very interesting, but for those of us whose knowledge of AD is
limited to that IBM TV commercial, and, more important, who run on AIX or some
other non-MS platform, is it relevant? Are these features for Windows servers
only?
