Akash When you do a database backup, do you specify type=full? The default is incremental. TSM will only let you delete up to the last FULL backup, because you need the last full and all subsequent incrementals to get up to current date. To solve your immediate problem, you might take another

We have over 20 Windows 2000 Cluster servers. On all of these servers we have to create 2 sets of all the services. One for the local drive and one for the cluster. We have never run into the issue you are speaking of. We use the dsmcutil command to create all our servers via scripting. The o

I did some limited testing in a win2000 sp4 tsm 5.2.3.2 and IIRC it appeared that the preallocated files did get reallocated at the os level the first time they received data and I would assume when they were reclaimed and reused.
