What to do with these tapes. I have 15 of then they are full and pct_reclaim is 100% and not expiring. I cant do anything with them I tried move date to free but they not allowing to do that. I heard that I need to wait for some kind of expiration. How can I force to tell that that tape are free. A

Do a "smitty sysback" -> TSM Configuration -> TSM Backup Management -> Remove a TSM Backup Image -> select your TSM virtual device . You'll get a list of current backups. Check to see if any are still open. If so, select it ((Esc 7) and then press Enter to remove it. Then retry your backup.

You are licensed for Sysback, right? It is a different and separate license from TSM. Once I log into Passport Advantage, there is a download page that shows me all the products I am entitled to. Sysback shows up there. There is both a Download and a Order Media button on that page. David
