Kyle, Thanks for the trick : I tried it, and was able to log-in again on the machine. However, something probably failed during the systemstate restore, as entire parts of the system configuration where lost ... Not really funny, but this machine was only a test server, so the damage is limited.

Yes.. I tested this at the weekend.. You can write backups simultaneously to two primary tape pools (or disk pools), on two different libraries, in two different locations as long as they are connected by fibre. Works like a dream! (as long as you have server version 5.2 or above) Thanks to all
