Minor nitpick: ping doesn't use TCP but uses two types of ICMP packets.

That is what I am thinking, but however when I reboot the TSM server to
a Windows Partition, without TSM, I can view the web page and Telnet on
port 1500 1580 and 1521. So maybe it is a Linux configuration, that is
restricting access. I am still working on the problem. Thanks for

As with all AIX base filesets, they are only on your AIX install media and
are not available on-line
