We migrated a TSM server from HPUX to AIX. Most nodes we
exported/imported. But for some BIG nodes, we defined them as new to the
new TSM instance and let it do a full backup. Then we let the old backups
expire off the old server. We were only able to do this for a few of th

I have already had some great replies on this subject (thank you), but my
new question is this.
I understand that you can't simply move database volumes from one OS to
another, but can you use something like dumpdb
Since we are discontinuing our z/OS based TSM server, I need to move
everything off. I am doing this via "EXPORT NODE TO SERVER".
I would like to take this opportunity to change the domains for some of
these nodes.
What are the implication/problems/requirements/gotchas in doing this ?

just for the records:
I was updating prole after installation to connect to an Administration
Assistant according to the docu
with "prole -update ". Unfortunately this was causing the
problem.
I then used "prole -update -p 57321 " and everything
worked as it should.
