You don't mention the library type and I'm assuming it is a tape library
that is already in use.
If memory servers, I believe ( for 3494 libraries ) the WWN of the (online)
drives is captured in the
devconfig.info file.

Yes, I am running expire inventory daily. And I don't see anything in the
activity log that would indicate that the expiration is not working.
