I'm getting this error in a clients dsmerror.log:
Management class 'LOGS' named on include/exclude line 0 does not exist
Q inclexcl from DSMC doesn't show any relevant includes, so where is line 0?

There is no inclexcl file - I checked the include options by 'q inclexcl' from
the client's command line.
And I'm definitely on the correct node.

i would touch an inclexcl.file in /var/adm
and in dsm.sys under this nodes stanza
write down inclexcl /var/adm/inclexcl.file
and try again q inclexcl just to see the reaction
- maybe admin center options sets has some leftovers

My guess is that this is coming from a client option set.
Run the query inclexcl command again, but this time tack on the -detail
option:
dsmc q inclexcl -detail
This will show you the management class name (if specified) for include
statements.

2. average nightly GB that are backed up == ??

In answer to getting nightly backup volume, I use the following
(AIX/Korn shell) to get both total for the night and individual node's
data. The reason for the loop on a single node is due to some
file-systems being so huge that run a simple dsmc inc would kill the
box - so I backup each
