We did an upgrade from 5.2.x.x to 5.4.2.0 on AIX. IBM recommended we
take the scenic route through 5.3.0 then 5.4.0 and finally the latest
patch. I would suggest you call the friendly TSM support team and
confirm that is what you should do.
The read.me files are hard to piece together...

Hi list,
I need an older version of firmware, Drivecode Level 38D0 or 3434, for Ultrium
LTO2Gen2 drives and 51TB for LTO3 tape drives.
The library is a LTO IBM 3582. For the library itself, I need a firmware level
2.11 and 305B.
Where can I get these older versions? I couldn´t find it at IBM
