Tivoli\TSM\Domino\*.pdb file

Hi Niklas, I just have an idea how you can solve it. You run Export node and export all the archive data. Now can you rename EXTPDB1 node to TDEPDB2 and then run import node with Replacedefs=No MERGEfilespaces=Yes That mean all the data will be in TDEPDB2 and now can you rename the node back to

select statement to detail a filespace

Is it possible to query TSM with a select statement that will detail out a particular filespace. If so does any one have one. Say a filespace \\NODE1\D$ for node NODE1. This particular drive has 5 folders Can TSM show the percentage of storage for each or the number of files active or inactive. T

1,000,000 passes @ 512 per week is about 37 years. If I remember right an LTO4 is a 256 track serpentine tape, two complete writes per week is 512 passes. We do not have many tapes that are fully written twice per week. Shoe shining is only going to double the passes for that section of tape for

TSM client MIB for SNMP

This is where this gets most complicated! I believe (and I could easily be wrong), that the tape is not written at one time from front to back. Instead, it writes several tracks on a pass, then reverses, and writes more tracks in a reverse pass. it therefore requries multiple passes across the e
