When I run "q spacetrigger db f=d" I see
DB Full Percentage: 80
DB Space Expansion Percentage: 100
I have worked out how to change DB Space Expansion Percentage but how
would I change DB Full Percentage from 80 to 90?

Hello all,
I am facing a challenge:
I have a situation where I must take backups (image backups) of some 4000 raw
LVs on AIX. These LVs are mounted FlashCopy volumes, so I don have to worry
about snapshots and so on.
They were being backed up to a disk storage pool (!) with a MAXSIZE of 900MB,
You can refer to this technote for the procedure:
Technote # 1144815: Moving a TSM Database Volume to another location.

Yes, you must ALWAYS define either a new DB or LOG volume before you can
EXTEND/use them.

Perl definitely has an expect module, and I agree that is the way to go in this
situation.

Perl should have an expect module. Expect has a syntax for saying how
long to wait for a specific response before timing out.

Is there an option for the dsmadmc administrative client to set how long
the client should wait before giving up on a response from a server?
I'm trying to automate some routine health checks of our servers, and
there are times that not getting a prompt response tells me more than
enough. However,
Thanks...they do have a 5.5.1 Netware client.. I am going to look to see
if Journalling is supported and if so how would it be set up.
