Data Protection for SQL 5.3.3 was only released in the x64 version.
Adding x64 support was the sole purpose of that special release.
Thanks,

For a very special circumstance we need TDP for SQL 5.3.3 32bit. We found an
IBM doc that referenced it, but we can only find the 64bit version. Did or
does the 32bit version exist?

Our long-term goal is to get rid of tapes altogether. Currently we utilize
IBM TSM 5.4 to backup nodes to a disk based storage pool. We then backup
the storage pool to LTO3 tapes, which are latter vaulted offsite. We would
like to backup the storage pool directly to an offsite disk based solutio

Hi Rick,
I'm not using TSM OR (which is TSM 5.x), but TSM Reporting & Monitoring
(which is for TSM 6.x). I know that TSM OR still can access TSM 6.x but
the reports are getting garbled somewhat.
Eric has answered that it is on the future feature list of TSM R&M, so
I'll guess I have to wait.

Hi Richard!
I read somewhere that this is on the future features list. I'm currently
sticking to TSMOR for this reason.

To me removing the copystg value of a pool meant losing the pointer to copy
storage pool data.
Thanks
Hi All,
I've been searching but did not find it yet. In the old Operational Reporting
it was possible to mail the report to you (or a bunch of people).
Does anyone know to do this for TSM R&M, and if so how?
Met vriendelijke groet, with kind regards,
Richard van Denzel.

Because it should not, according to the architecture.

Hi,
how to cancel a session with media wait in a manual library? "can sess" does
not work. TSM keeps the waiting session even if you restart the client node.
(TSM server 5.3 in AIX 5.3) The session will die after the 60 minutes of
timeout.
Thanks
Hi everyone,
stg1 has stg2 as copy pool and they are synced. If you set the copystg of
stg1 to null, why stg2 still has copy data of stg1? Why doesn't TSM
delete/expire the copy data?
Thanks
Hum sorry, i think i don't write exactly what i mean :)
in fact, we'll buy a new hardware, and then we'll install TSM 6 on it.
We must after connect it to actual storages which stores filepool and diskpool
(SAN disk IDB DS4200)) and a library (Overland NEO2000).
