Have you... as the warnings suggested... reviewed the Windows "Microsoft
Application event log" on the client server? Did you see any useful messages?

99% of time (at least for me), any backup failure with VSS in the name is
most likely due to missing MS VSS patches. I did not see what version of
Windows you are running, but check this page:

The Backup Storage pool doesn't intent to use offsite only. It use for recover
from volume damaged too. I think TSM not allow rebuilt damage volume from
replicated data.
