Is it me, or is anyone else running into this issue:
9 out of 10 times I try and do a search (with or without my IBM ID) on the
support portal search page, I get a Search is temporarily unavailable
error message. This is really really frustrating and the only way I've
found to clear the error is
We've got Mac users who are showing up with OSX 10.9 Mavericks, and
who would like to back these up to TSM. I am seeing in
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21053584 that even the
TSM V7.1 client will not support OSX 10.9, but only supports 10.8.

I'm about to find out. Just install tsm client 6.4.1.0 and mavaricks. Got to
get the client acceptor running, but then will try some backups and restores.
Any help on getting the acceptor running would be appreciated. Cant find much
in the manual.

If you haven't resolved this one yet (and I've never seen this peculiar
case before), I suggest:
1. Configure the client for a SERVICE trace by adding these options to the
dsm.opt file:
traceflags service
tracefile ans1009w.trace

It's a bogus message - any time you do a complex search (i.e., more than 2
keywords) the search times out and you get the search temporarily unavailable
