I am currently exporting nodes from one server to another. My
data is not collocated so there are many tape mounts to be completed. It
only sets off one process. Is there anyway to up the number of tape
mounts the export is doing?

We're stuck on v6.2.5 for a while. We have a library sharing environment, and
a single v5 instance is pinning our v6 servers at v6.2.5. Once that instance
is upgraded we will push up to v6.4.

DB2 doesn't know whether it's an actual LUN or not.
It only sees the filesystem.
Whether you use dedicated LUNs is a performance question.
On XIV type disk where I/O is striped every which way and everything is
spinning all the time, it's a whole different question than if you put 8
filesystems
