pools and policy sets and I want to avoid splitting up the
large disk if at all possible. Also, I only have 2 tape drives, so going

exact same configuration, with little or no potential for human error;
just change the hostname and IP and go! Works very well.

starting the scheduler on init level
5, which is a shutdown level. Runlevel 2 is most commonly the multi-user
runlevel.
Try replacing that 5 w/ a 2 and see how things go...

he 4.1 admin command line client that wasn't there
before. Server and 4.1 clients are at version 4.1.2.0, old client is
3.1.0.7 all running on AIX 4.3.3.

As I understand it, this is normal. If you look them up, one is a message
that the drive needs cleaning, the other is a record showing that the
drive went through a cleaning cycle.
