We are planning to upgrade from the ADSM 3.1 server to TSM 4.2 this weekend
on OS/390. I have been trying to find out what the latest PTF level is for
this product, but so far without success. Does anyone have any information
about that or any information about any problems found in the 4.2 ser
One of our users recently installed the TSM 4.2 client for True64 Unix.
They are running version 5.1 of the OS on this machine, and so can't use
previous versions of the ADSM/TSM client. In their dsm.sys file they have
set compression=yes and the node definition on the server has
compression=clie
We trying to set up a TSM server on AIX. The person setting up the server
is an experienced Unix sysadmin, but is running into a problem defining
partitions on the AIX box. The disk system is 350 GB RAID5. When she
tries to set up a partition larger than 5 GB, she gets an error message.
