Hi, I was given the info that LTO1 drives are upgradable for ADIC1000 libraries. The thing is that the drive itself( internally) gets swaped and the base (power supply, internal electronics, etc) stays the same. The cost for this would be 1/3 of a new drive. The statement came from an ADIC sales rep.
