I use on both server logical volumes and jfs-filesystems. All (DB, log and
disk pool) are on jfs-filesystems.
Is it better when I change to RAW devices?

The Tuning guide recommends (for AIX servers) using raw LVs for db and log
vols only. They recommend using JFS for stgpool volumes.
