1) why would your production system be trying to access offsite tapes? 2) each system can only access the tapes checked in to its library; but the command I gave you changes only the tapes that were marked OFFSITE to ReADONLY. Therefore your production server wouldn't be trying to access them.

Wanda, I do have a follow up question. The Test and Production TSM servers are using the same physical tape library, it contains 2 logical libraries (Test and Production). Some of the tape drives are shared by both libraries while others are dedicated to each library. Both servers have the same

I assume this is a one-time type test you are doing with your test TSM, you have the offsite tapes available to you, and you've configured your test TSM tape drives to the point that you know you can mount a tape from the test TSM. You're already done with the hard parts! Do these actions on the
