System slow when running a tivoli backup.

2000-08-01 Thread David Cui
Hi! I am running AIX 4.3.2 with Tivoli 3.7. When I run the Tivoli backup, the client machine is very slow, no one can do any work. People can't even login. Can any one shed some light? Thanks. David __ Do You Yahoo!? Kick off your party with Ya

Check your setting for RESOURCEUTILIZATION in the option file of the client. Perhaps you have overridden the default setting causing a more aggressive use client resource (threads/sessions) than you desire. Regards, Mike Dile Tivoli Storage Manager Client Development [EMAIL PROTECTED]
