I wanted to see if I could pick your brains for a second!
What happens if you are performing null block compression before sending the
data over the network to the TSM server (RL_COMPRESSION YES in the SAP R/3
profile) and also using Tape Drive compression (349
Is there anybody that know this kind of errors during backint backup with TDP for
sap/r3 on nt 4.x platform?
My backint release is: 2.7 level 25.1 and brbackup is level 4.0b

TDP/configuration around, and of-cource it takes a couple real-time
tests/failovers to get it adjusted.

There is also TDP for MS SQL Server. It does not take advantage
of the SAP R/3 functions such as brbackup/brarchive though. I would

we do not use this solution anymore because of new needs in the project. We are
expecting the application will be migrated to Oracle for the end of the year. So

There are several version of TDP for SAP R/3. 3.1 supports RMAN and
Oracle 8 (it may support Oracle 7 as well), 2.4 support Oracle 7 for
sure. And before that there was the BACKINT-ADSM which supported
SAP R/3 and Oracle 7.
