Hi, I have written a vspackage for vs2003 which works fine under vs2003 ide. I configured the reg settings for the same package assembly for vs2005, but the package won't load. - The package has dependency on older microsoft.visualstudio.dll which is no longer available in vs2005. - vs2005's new microsoft.visualstudio.dll no longer exposes the ISelectionContainer interface. How can you make the property page work in vs2005 ?
In general, can one expect to have the older vspackage written for vs2003 able to run under vs2005 ? (without changes). What's the resolution for the specific problem above ?
