Adam, if you notice this reads use 'Visual Source Safe' setting's. This does not change which source control provider you want to use. Ours is pointed to VSS but still open in Clear Case. We even went into Clear Case and Stopped it. Same results. You can read messages from the Advanced DOTNET

Everything meaning what you describe. Does not work. We point to VSS and then try to Open From Source Control from the File menu and it defaults to Clear Case. Our client wants to move to Clear Case which is why it was installed on their desktops; however they have not made the switch yet and a
