Hi, We have set up three different type of conversions on GAds (and on GTM):
- Client - Server - Client & Server (where the GAds conversion tracking tag shares the same Conversion ID & Label both for Client and Server Side) We wanted to check if the fact of using the same Conversion ID & Label on two different tags (one in Client-side and one in Server-side) could duplicate the number of conversions observed in the platform GAds. So if this would be the case, we expect the same number of conversions for the tag Client and the tag Server, and double the number of conversions for the tag Client & Server. However, we've observed that the Tag Client and the tag Client & Server share the same number of conversions (with 1% discrepancies) whereas the tag Server has a much lower number of conversions (more than half) We would like to understand how GAds attributes the conversions when the tags are done in Server Side GTM. Are the attribution for client-side and server side different? Why are we seeing a lower number of conversions for server side GTM conversion tracking tag? Thank you, Alejandro. -- -- =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ Also find us on our blog: https://googleadsdeveloper.blogspot.com/ =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum" group.
