Size of User List Differs from Value Displayed in UI

Hi, I uploaded a CrmBasedUserList via the API. The AdWords UI shows a list size (Google Properties) of 33,000 for the audience. But querying the user list via the API always returns "size":"0","sizeRange":"LESS_THAN_FIVE_HUNDRED". Why does the API not return the same size the UI displays? Best
