Since this problem also exists in the AdWords web interface then it is
likely a larger issue. I would recommend posting your question to the

Thank you for reply.
I tried it in Adwords Web UI itself. I am able to see 'Incorrecte image
layout' message for the invalid image i mentioned, there is no descriptive
error message showing.

Have you tried uploading these images through the AdWords web
interface? Perhaps you'll get a more detailed error message there
that will indicate the cause of the problem.
