I did that once... If you want it climate controlled by the time you
insulate it and install a descent floor in it the cost ended up being
way more than a used shelter at the time. That was when you were still
able to get some Nextel shelters for free if you payed to have them
removed from the site. You will probably be able to pick up even more
now with T-mo and sprint collapsing footprints, but who knows Sprint
wasn't keen on shelters and T-mo your lucky to have a full cabinet.
I just happened by the one near me I was driving buy and saw rows of
them lined up in a lot along with portable buildings, and temp
construction trailers. A good resource would probably be to find out who
the ATT Turf Vendors are in your area. They will have sold them off to
someone at some point. You can sometimes give them your information and
get a good deal when they get a site demo.

I want a larger central office. The building I installed is nice,
had 4 roof mounted HVAC units, had an elevated door to make it flood
resistant, sump pump etc. Very nice building. Just too small.
Been looking at the used telecom shelter sites and some of them don’t
even tell you where the units are.
Anyone have a favorite broker?
