I love Synology for home and the company backups/services/things. Big fan
of the software and the hardware is a fair price to get the software.

I love my Synology. Logs everything, easy to use. Had worker saying
files are deleting on their own etc, I check logs and see its their own
user deleting it. Long story short it keeps all the transactions logged
both CIFS/NFS ... practically everything in a neat tidy web gui.
