I've mounted CPE on two, not quite that tall though. Maybe 35-40ft. They
were angle iron with bolt steps. Fairly sturdy, steps slightly questionable
but got the customer online. Climbed with harness like any other tower of
course.

Yes.
We have some equipment up on and old "Chicago" windmill; several bits
actually. Ours is only 45' tall or so, and I can't seem to find any
pictures of us putting the equipment up on it (but I'll keep looking).
At the top we have a 180 900 AP, then a UBNT PTP (2' dish), then a 5.7
GHz C
I was only up one of them. The ladder sucked. The tower seemed pretty
stout.

Safe to climb, um... guess it depends on how brave you feel :-) I
usually figure they have survived >100 years of 60+ MPH winds if they
are still standing in Ohio. As long as the steel looks reasonable and
the structural bracing looks good I will climb it at least part way.

There's also an andrew pole clamp that's basically a pipe-to-pipe clamp
where one side is sized for a "pipe" 12" in diameter. Those happily
clamp on a wooden pole.
"expensive" is relative. You can always spend more.

Cat5e is so cheap these days, why wouldn't you?
Even running fiber and/or cat6 to each room is going to be negligible cost
in this day and age.

Andrew makes a wood pole clamp that is like pipe-to-pipe clamps welded to
the end of galvanized all-thread. It’s expensive though.

What about trees.. :)
Seriously we have a KOA campground that we have a couple of trees to
deal with.
Its a wifi access project.
We are using only mikrotik for this deployment because we need the use
of userman and payment
gateway options and dude for monitoring.

I drill all the way through the pole and use large allthread with bolts and
washers and then lag the other holes

Your local electrical wholesaler will have unistrut Ts with slightly
rounded metal plates that you can lag in and mount a pipe to. That's what
they use to run their 3" conduit up the pole. I've used them before and
they worked amazing.

That is all so confusing. First, that's 90% off Comodo's own pricing,
why would Comodo allow a reseller to sell their product as such a deep
discount? Second, nowhere on the NameSecure website does it
I just get the cheapest wildcard cert from NameCheap.
