Also, Worth looking at just the epmp1000 connectorized and use your own
antennas.
use force 180's for the clients.

Used to licensed gear for licensed frequence this cheap stuff is a stepdown for
sure. You get what you pay for. With licensed frequency I would pay a bit more
and use SAF. The experience starts with the mount.

No. I bought one of this intel chips. This was a minipci Wifi/Wimax combination
which was quite cheap. But the driver bound this to some medium sized carriers
which where listed by intel. So I had a wimax BS a wimax Chipset in my laptop
but I cant connect as Intel did not allow to.

Dont sound like I should mount this to a tower …
The package with SFP+/DC in and this housing looks good but if it is not stable
it is not usable. Maybe they need some time to get it sorted out.

What about their new Edgeswitches. EP-S16 looks great for tower deployment. Is
it stable/performant and able to power e.g. SAF Integra?

PON has the advantage of reducing active equipment at street level.
Energyefficient and no problem with power outages. Guess a gpon network needs
less admintime.
