I have never tried it on anything but water, but it always works on water
lines.

Works on buried lines. Seen it done in project we did for fms Technologies
years

How often do you daylight/hydrovac their line? In our area, other utilities
recommend doing so every 30-50ft when you are going parallel to their lines, in
the assumption that their line won't have any ex
