Hey...
With the two presidential candidates now decided, I want to be clear
about this $100 bet with me and Chuck... his claim was that Utah would
vote Democrat before voting for Trump. I am still betting that Utah will
vote Republican, which means Trump.
If Utah votes Democrat (Clinton), I
Interesting bet. It's tough to say if they'll stick with the party,
especially when Trump got 0 delegates.

Yeah, but look at it this way... in the primary, Trump got 24,864 votes,
and Clinton got 15,666. If I was betting on this, I'd say they'll stick
with the party.

The individual votes don't mean a whole lot, you have to look at the
electoral.

If Utah votes Democrat
True, but my point is that even though Trump lost very badly, there were
still a lot more people supporting him than supported Clinton. If Sanders
did somehow manage to become the nominee, I think there is a chance he
could win Utah though.

Each state is very different, and these are
California has an open primary, except that the republican party chose
to not participate. So you can vote for any party you like except
republican.

I think Utah is actually a caucus state, so I'm assuming it's probably
closed, but I'm not sure. And yeah, I agree that the numbers don't mean a
lot for what'll happen in the general, but looking at the huge differences,
I just can't see Clinton winning there... Sanders, maybe - he did get

It is a weird blend with caucus actually doing the work but supposedly there is
a concurrent primary. I don’t understand it.
