Ive been brainstorming about this for a while, and I dont mind sharing what i came up with.
It actually looks possible to me now, and I think these are the key elements. * power source... do it however you want, but you need to run the fridge+pump. * MOST IMPORTANT. a pneumatic air conditioning system, that can freeze liquid, and go to boiling temperature, for distilling/water purification and cooking. You need to get this down first. and it takes up majority of the robot I bet * 1 shower load. (every time you want a shower, you have to find a tap somewhere, or wait for a rain inlet to fill it up.) * a robotic shower head. -shower externally, to make the robot smaller, but maybe have a privacy curtain. [BTW- im not planning on using the robot to carry me, im going to walk along side it, and its going to follow me around.) * 15 litre store of water/milk, whatever you fancy. that comes to 15 kilograms, not too heavy to store. * small extendable shelter, rain protected floor, and luke warm air con coming in. * an excrement drying system, and it dries it out, and you go dig a hole for it like a cat. (if your robot could do it for you, its even better. and i reckon if you had that, you could pretty much get away from your house nearly permanently, if you had a small supply of money coming in for the food and drink you need. ($150 a week would do?? as long as u had that organized?)
