Hi all,
I have not seen this device but I have tried a hand held scanner. The
problem is keeping the device aligned with the text. A better bet is to use
a smart phone to scan the text.

We need both approaches. Mobile apps will help but not for rapid
identification. Imagine getting out of a cab and having to pay for it in cash?
You can't be pulling out your phone, ensuring you have enough light and then
scanning qr codes etc. You need to be able to tactually distinguis
