Fix not working, it keeps asking for the password, which is set on the
live dvd to empty.
Infact if I press once enter ubiquity will start (same for "sudo su" or
other commands).

This is halting the release of ArtistX 1.2 but what sense if the bug is

ArtistX 0.6 seems running fine, it was a 3 day attempt but at the end I
got it. :-)
Here's what I did (I'm preparing the tutorial):

Tried to boot a burned cd and voila': it works (Thinkpad T42P).
More and more I think this should be stated on the wiki: make-live
produces iso which doesn't boot X on Vmware or Qemu.
