there seems to be no correlation with an observium update. The last updates
were today and before that on September 8. The effect has only been present
since 14.09.

I get new recovery messages for my pandacom devices (pandacom-sc) all the time.
Observium does not show any alerts. For a device that has not reported any
event at all since October 5, Observium shows hundreds of recoveries today
alone.
