My workaround was not to use the property ${junit.classpath} within a
, and instead hardcode the path.
Apparently Ant cannot expand property names with 's. However,
using the same property within a call will work.

Workarounds: kill unnecessary processes on your box to allow more cpu time

Use this line instead. it has the quotes removed.

Download "optional.jar". then put it in your ANT_HOME/lib directory.

Yes it would be nice.
However, there is no need for one, as FileSet can incorporate directories
too. The implementing taskdef can obtain the included directories it it
wanted.
It all comes down to how smart the taskdef implementor is! ;)

The task that you are using must support use of the classpath element.
Look at the examples in the docs. That's how I did mine.

I need help using ejbc with weblogic, and ant 1.4beta2. My error is below.
Apparently my directory is not a class. Go figure.
The dest dir is set to the package space where the class files reside.
Why can't I run ejbc on a jar file directly?
