Re: [Linuxdcpp-team] [Bug 716632] Re: DC++ 0.781 can't open large filelist
Well, if I do my math correctly 512 Mib translates to 536870912 bytes and the filelist I reported has a size of 93590669 bytes, lots of margin imho. KjellBrell 2011/2/10 eMTee 716...@bugs.launchpad.net Max filelist size This setting controls the size of the maximum file list that DC++ will open, in mebibytes. This setting helps protect against malformed file lists that require large amounts of memory to decode. You may need to reduce or increase the value of this setting based on personal experience. The filelist is about 73 MB in size. It seems to work in other clients, DC++ seems to be the only affected client, not sure whether older versions are affected. Re: [AP] Loosing capture device
I have trouble with firewire and SP2. Try SP1. I am the IS Director for a school district in Oregon. We have started a video class at the high school. They are using Intel P4 2.8 GHz Windows XP Pro PCs with 512 MB of ram with ATI Radon 9600 video cards and a generic PCI firewire card to capture. The students are using Adobe Premiere 7.0 to capture the video footage from various digital video cameras. The problem is that we continue to loose connection to the cameras at random times during initial connection. Once connected Premiere is able to capture the video footage, but at any random time with any of the various cameras when the camera is connected to the PC it does not see the camera. Then with the same equipment, but at another time the camera will connect. We have checked the cables and they appear fine. The PCs have all of the security patches and no viruses. I have also used an account with full administrative rights, but with no difference. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. [Ltsp-discuss] Client hangs when trying to start X !
Hi ! I have recently started to experiment with LTSP. I have burned the discs from k12lstp and installed then on a machine as a tepmorary server. The machine has a fujitsu mini ITX MB and a 3com905 TX network card. The client is an old AMD based 486 120 Mhz machine with 130 MB RAM a 8139D 10/100 clone card ( Jaht) and a Matrox mystique 220 PCI card. The machines are connected via a 10Mb hub right now but will be 100Mb later. Everything seems to work fine until it tries to go to multisession mode then it hangs !
