that setting with madwifi to switch from b/g to g mode to gain better
wifi stability:

Did somebody of you have tested to burn cd/dvd on console, disabling hal
before? I had similar problems and worked around it with disabling hal.
You have to prepare an isoimage (via your frontend tool of choice,
gbaker, brasero, k3b) or use existing image if available for above

The idea sounds great.
I tested it and I can get all parameters that are neccessary in my script.
Parsing parameters looks more clean to me than the logfile.
So for simple operations this would be a good replacement!
*But* If i am performing updates or also dist upgrades on my servers

I recognised that there is a difference when the laptop was suspended via
button and via closing the lid. Via button the resume went fine without any
following suspend action.
This is in someway near to mcz's solution. I wonder if you still get the
lid down event with your config?

patch/update for dk-power in between alpha and beta
release, after that everything went downhill.
can you point to that patch? Was it Ubuntu specific or upstream?

fsvs grow mature!
I have also a package of fsvs-1.2.1 for Ubuntu karmic and hardy in my ppa
at:

Still included is the password patch but I hope we get this out when native ssl
support works.
