This is odd; I'm not aware of any configuration changes which happened,
but suddenly EVERY non-English character is suddenly showing up as a
placeholder.
This is on Ubuntu 12.10; my locale is set to en_US.UTF-8, using version 3.6
I have fonts for Japanese and Chinese characters available; I'm
I want to use a headless LibreOffice install for document conversion
(using jodconverter, unless there is a better alternative), but right
now there's a couple problems:
1. Various Chinese characters aren't being converted correctly; they
display just fine in an RTF version of the document
