Prettyprint comes very handy when it comes to object debugging. Use it in my
logger method always ;)

Re: VirtualHost: * vs. _default_

When configuring SSL in Apache2, what is the difference between these two
 lines:
 VirtualHost *:443
 VirtualHost _default_:443

I've tried limited experimentation, but as I only have this cert for a
live site I can't be experimenting too long! My end goal is to serve
 SSL for example.com (http://example.com) and for sub.example.com
 (http://sub.example.com), but setting two
sites-enabled files with the following lines does not work:
 VirtualHost example.com:443 (http://example.com:443)
 VirtualHost sub.example.com:443 (http://sub.example.com:443)

you need a SSL certificate which support wild card.

 Hi,

Can you help to find out the module that will help me to build RPM's and
 manipulate with RPM database.

 I followed
 http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/Fedora_Draft_Documentation/0.1/html/RPM_Guide/ch-rpm-programming-python.html
but unable to find rpm or python-rpm modules.

 pip search rpm

just list few rpm packages like pyrpm which not much of help.

 Refer:

Are you in a Redhat/fedora/centos box ? If yes then do yum install rpm-devel

Re: [fosscomm] Kerala going for Microsoft

2012-07-03 Thread Sreekandh Balakrishnan
Might be a good idea if we can showcase some positive case study. If we explore
our contacts in media/PR and get some good case study printed on how using FOSS
states are saving money, or students are learning more, or how emerging markets
like europe is moving towards FOSS, etc ..

Am not sure if I would support protest as a starting point.
