I mentioned to the list that I was going to buy one of these radio sets and
asked if anyone else had owned one to perhaps get some opinions.
I did own one of these radios some 20 years ago, I had to sell at the time
and have made it my business to find one for my collection ever since.

No doubt about the sound, the XY microphone capsule is absolutely superb.
I've done a little recording from my Casio Piano using tracks 3 and 4, nothing
to complain about there.
I also used the input on the X/Y microphone capsule to record from a line out
source and I can say that this recorder
Argh, yes, that would be terrible indeed.
So far I've only noticed this with both Winamp and VLC. Everything else seems
to load normally, but if it's happened to these programmes, whose to say it
won't spread! Very strange. I did note that installing the VLC update seemed to
fix that
It's funny--coincidental funny, not ha-ha funny--that you should bring
this up. I have noticed the delayed-start behavior in just about every
program I run on one of my Windows 10 machines, only one in particular,
and I've run a few programs to try to figure out what's causing it, but
